Bus Tour to Newark Octagon Earthworks and Ohio History Connection

Join us for a bus trip to Newark Octagon Earthworks and Ohio History Connection
Join us for a full and memorable day on Thursday, September 10, as we explore Ohio’s extraordinary Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks. Our first stop is Octagon Earthworks at 10:00 a.m., where admission is waived for our group. Afterward, we’ll visit the Ohio History Connection’s exhibit, Indigenous Wonders of our World—The Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks, with a guided tour by Brad Lepper. We’ll depart at 8:00 a.m. from the Ohio University Chillicothe parking lot near University Drive and expect to return around 4:30 p.m.

Individual tickets are $50 for members and $70 for non‑members, which includes admission to both sites, a boxed lunch and bottled water, and a menu sent after registration so you can select your meal. If you are a member of the Ohio History Connection, your cost is reduced by $11—be sure to bring your membership card.
